Long cardigan with a high slit and a belt at the waist. This long cardigan is worked back and forth from the top down in stockinette stitch, with wide folded edges and slits at the sides. Along the front edges and neckline, stitches are picked up to work a wide ribbed band in double knitting. Decreases are made along the sleeves so that they gradually taper. Finally, a narrow belt is worked in double-knit rib and inserted into the cardigan at the waist.
