Textured children’s cardigan with raglan in a “grandfather” style. This cardigan is worked back and forth from the bottom up in waffle rib. First, the body is knitted, followed by the two front pieces and the back worked separately. On the yoke of the front pieces, stitches are gradually decreased to form the V-shape at the neckline. Once the yoke is complete, stitches are picked up along the armholes, and the sleeves are knitted in the round in waffle rib. Finally, a double-knit rib edge is worked along the fronts and neckline, where buttons are attached and buttonholes are made. The cardigan is knitted in Luna wool yarn, but can also be knitted in Vidde or Varde woolen yarn.
